The Redistribution arm of Surplus to Supper collects surplus food for free and delivers it to local charities, ensuring it reaches those who need it most.
We operate five vans that collect surplus food from local businesses and deliver food to various charities, drop-in centres, dementia charities, and food banks within a 10-mile radius, ensuring fresh food reaches those in need promptly.
Each day, our vans hit the road to gather high-quality surplus food, which is then carefully sorted and distributed to our partner organisations. This efficient process helps us support a wide network of beneficiaries, ensuring that vulnerable individuals and families have access to healthy meals. Whether it's a local shelter, a community kitchen, or a specialised charity, our goal is to make sure that no good food goes to waste and that everyone in our community has the nourishment they deserve.
